Mostahidur Rahman Tutul, joint secretary of Mollahat press club in Bagerhat, has been rescued in Natore after 12hrs of his missing.
Police sources said locals found Tutul in senseless state near the Natore-Dhaka Highway in Dattopara area around 7pm Monday and informed police.
Later, the police rescued him and admitted to Natore Sadar Hospital.
Doctor Abul Kalam Azad, RMO of the hospital, said somebody might have made him senseless using some kinds of ointment. He was out of danger.
Tutul, son of Jamil Ahmed of Kahalpur village of Mollahat area is also the local correspondent of the Daily Jugokatha published from Gopalganj,
Mizanur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, said they had already informed the incident to the family members of the victim through Mollahat police station.
Babul Mian, elder brother of Tutul, said his brother went out after somebody called him on Sunday night and did not return home.
They could not reach him as his cell phone found switched off.
Afterward, the family members filed a GD with local police station.
