Missing doctor’s father urges PM to find his son

Speaking at a press briefing in the Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh (CRAB) office on Saturday AKM Nurul Alam also alleged that his son had been abducted by plainclothes men on October 14 midnight from in front of an Aarong outlet in Dhaka’s Science Laboratory area. As for proof, he referred to CCTV footage.

“We looked for him in all the possible places and contacted the law enforcement agencies but they could not find any trace of my son. “We filed a writ petition with the High court seeking orders to find our son. The court asked the government authorities concerned to submit a report to it within 10 days on what steps have been taken to trace out the missing. But still we do not have any clue about our son,” the father added. Meanwhile, he also trashed the validity of the news published by a daily that his son was involved in militancy. Nurul Alam alleges that his son is in police custody and sought prime minister’s intervention in this regard.
