Police have detained four members of Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Moghbazar's Ambagan area in Dhaka.
The detainees are Hafez Zafar Ahmed, Rasel Ahmed Rimon, Abdullah Al Monju alias Jahangir, and Md Rasel Uddin.
DMP Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media) Jahangir Alam told the Dhaka Tribune that the JMB men were held in a drive of DB police and DMP's newly formed Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit around 10pm Monday.
The law enforcers also seized a laptop, six mobile phone handsets and jihadi books from the possession of the JMB members.
