A total of three terrorists belonging to Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir have been held with firearms from Chittagong city and Satkania upazila in Chittagong district.
Satkania police on Sunday arrested two Shibir men with firearms from Kanchana union of Satkania upazila in the district.
The arrestees were identified as Md Rifat and Didarul Islam.
Farid Uddin Khandakar, Officer-in-Charge of Satkania police station said the duo is accused in 10 sabotage cases each.
Meanwhile, the locals held a Shibir activist with locally manufactured firearms from Chawkbazar area under Chawkbazar police station in the city.
Later, the Shibir man identified as Mansur was handed over to the police on the day.
The police said Mansur, a resident of Fatikchhari upazila in Chittagong is accused in a number of cases. He became involved with terrorist activities after coming out on bail.
Aziz Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Chawkbazar police station said the locals detained him while loitering with firearms.
