Armed man arrested in Narayanganj before NCC polls

The police have been carrying out frequent operations in an attempt to reduce crime in the city before the much hyped mayoral election to be held on December 22. A foreign-made revolver and three rounds of bullets were seized from Rajib. The arrestee has a number of outstanding charges including violating gun laws, according to Sub-Inspector Majharul at a press briefing.
