7-murder suspect Tareque Sayeed hospitalised

Sacked camp commander of RAB 11 Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad, one of the accused in the Narayanganj sensational seven-murder cases, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital yesterday after he fell ill.

The former RAB official was taken to the hospital from Dhaka Central Jail around 1:30pm after he complained of spinal cord pain, said Inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of DMCH police camp.

Tareque has been kept at the DMCH Neurosurgery unit 2 under the supervision of Dr Asid Chandra Sarker, he said.
