Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) yesterday arrested three persons from different areas of the capital for allegedly propagating against the state and the government on the internet.
The arrestees are Tawhid Zaman, 21, Tanvir Ahmed, 18, and Omar Faruk, 22. They were arrested from different areas of the capital around 2am.
In a press briefing, RAB 2 Deputy Director Didarul Alam said the arrestees used to spread anti-state and anti-government contents on the Facebook through alternative way.
Of the arrestees, Tawhid is involved in Jamaat-Shibir politics, he added.
The arrestees are also involved in hacking, said the RAB official.
