A court in the district yesterday sentenced three persons to life-term imprisonment for killing a man in 2004.
The convicts were Sobhan Sheikh, Shahjahan Sheikh, sons of Mominuddin and Barek Sheikh, son of Monsur Sheikh of Bilbunia village under Morrelganj upazila.
According to the prosecution, miscreants killed Abdur Rahim, of the village on November,13, 2004, over establishing supremacy in the area.
The court handed down the verdict after examining the records and witnesses.
