A class-six girl has been hacked to death and her mother, younger sister stabbed indiscriminately by miscreants at Paterbagh area of Kadamtoli in the Capital on Tuesday night.
The deceased is Shoheli, 12, daughter of Shahida Mridha and Italy expat Selim.
The injured are her mother Shahida Mridha, 35 and younger sister Shahara, 7.
DMP Deputy Commissioner Nurul Haq said seven assailants entered at the 6th floor of house no.1492 of Paterpara area of Kadamtoli around 8.15pm and hacked all three members of the family.
Later, neighbors rushed them to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctors declared Shoheli dead.
DMCH emergency department doctors said the admitted are critically injured and Shahar’s condition is worsening for acute bleeding.
