Police have recovered 400gm of heroin worth Tk30 lakh from a bus in Station Bypass area of Natore district.
The arrestee is son of late Ainul Haque of Rajshahi.
Sadar OC Mizanur Rahman said: “Acting on a tip-off, a team of sadar police conducted drive at Rupa Paribahan and recovered the heroin packets early Sunday.”
He said the heroin packets were kept under the driver's seat.
Later, police arrested bus driver Baharul Islam, 45, over the matter.
A case has lodged with sadar police station in this connection.
