A murder case accused has fled from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he was undertaking treatment in police custody.
Tajul Khan, 25, an accused in a murder case filed with Atpara police station in Netrakona district, was admitted to casualty block; bed no 18 of the hospital, on October 8.
He left the bed at 7am on Saturday responding to the call of nature and did not return, said Mozammel Hossain, in-charge of DMCH.
Tajul, who was injured during a local clash, was taking treatment under the custody of DMP police.
Police started a hunt for him, added Mozammel.
