Metropolitan Magistrate Snigdha Rani Chakraborty recorded the judicial statement of the domestic help under section 22 of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act 2000 in the case.
Following the recording, the magistrate sent the 10-year-old girl back to the One-stop Crisis Centre (OCC) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she was undergoing treatment.
