Fourth Ashulia lighter factory fire victim dies

Sakhina, 21, died of her injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday morning, Dr Partho Sangkar Paul said. She had suffered 30% burn in the November 22 fire at Colour Match BD Limited. The death toll from the accident has now risen to four. Twenty-six workers had sustained burns in the accident – seven of them were critical. Of them, 20 were admitted to DMCH – most of them between the ages of 14 and 16 – while the rest were taken to Savar's Enam Medical College Hospital.
