2 killed in Faridpur 'turf war'

The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained yet. Madhukhali OC Md Ruhul Amin said: “A patrolling team of police heard the sound of some gunshots at a brick field in the area around 3am on Friday. “We went to the brick field and found the bullet-hit bodies.” Meanwhile, two firearms, a few bullets and some machetes were recovered from the spot. The OC said: “The deceased are members of robbery gangs. They might have been killed in shootout among themselves.” The bodies were sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
