A drug peddler has been hacked to death by miscreants in Barura of Comilla district.
Police recovered the body of Amir Hossain, 35, on Tuesday afternoon.
Barura police station OC Nasir Uddin Mridha said Amir Hossain was a professional drug peddler. "He was released from jail on bail last month."
Being informed by the locals, police recovered Amir's body from Kemtoli village.
The OC said it is being assumed that Amir's associates killed him.
