Two alleged criminals escaped while being taken to police station in Moksudpur, Gopalganj Wednesday.
Ilahi Miya, 30, and Babul Hossain, 28, both hailing from Chondibordi village under Moksudpur upazila, managed to flee after being held around 2am.
Through different drives, police arrested four – Shahdat, Yasin, Ilahi and Babul – from two spots in the village. They were accused in different cases for drug peddling and robbery, said Moksudpur police station Officer-in-Charge Md Azizur Rahman.
Drive was on to trace the two, he said.
