The police have held a member of Bangladesh Army with 10 kilograms of hemp from the district's Kasba upazila.
The detainee, Khokon Miah, 20, a member of Comilla Cantonment artillery division, was detained around 12:30pm.
Kasba Police station OC Golam Morshed said: “Acting on an information, the police raided a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Comilla-Sylhet Highway and held the army member with 10 kilograms of hemp.”
A case will be filed in this connection.
