A woman has been suffocated to death by miscreants at Uttar Jatrabari in the capital.
Police recovered the body of Sabekunnarhar, 30, on Saturday morning.
Jatrabari police SI Jasim Uddin said a group of five to six people swooped on the house on Friday night and suffocated Sabekunnarhar to death.
He said the miscreants also looted Tk40,000 and five to six tolas of gold ornaments from the house.
The body was sent to Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, said the OC.
