A mobile court yesterday fined 14 people Tk3,000 over indiscriminately and illegal parking and evicted 10 makeshift shops on the road in Chittagong city’s Court Building road area.
Executive Magistrate Mohammed Ruhul Amin, also Assistant Commissioner (AC) of the Chittagong District Administration, led the mobile court at the entrance of the Court Building.
Executive Magistrate Ruhul Amin said due to illegal and indiscriminate parking on the road and driving vehicles on the wrong side, the court fined 14 owners Tk3,000 as per as the existing law.
The mobile court also evicted 10 vendors during the drive, added the magistrate.
