Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury has reconstituted 57 benches of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court to conduct judicial proceedings.
An order to this effect was published on the Supreme Court’s website on Saturday.
According to the order, the benches will begin proceedings at 10:30am on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the chief justice and judges of both divisions of the Supreme Court will meet the attorney general, the president and secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association, and other lawyers in a courtesy meeting on Sunday, the first working day after the court vacation.
The meeting will be held from 9:30am to 12:30pm in the corridor outside Courtroom No 1 of the Appellate Division.
