International Crimes Tribunal on Monday granted permission to interrogate former Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik and Dhaka University Sociology Professor AKM Jamal Uddin in connection with alleged crimes against humanity committed during the July Uprising of 2024.
A two-member panel of the International Crimes Tribunal-1, led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder, passed the order. The other member of the panel is Justice Md Sahfiqul Alam Mahmood.
During the hearing, Prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim sought permission to question both individuals for one day each at a convenient time within the next 15 days. The tribunal accepted the plea and approved the request.
