A Dhaka court on Tuesday fixed August 24 for the submission of the probe report in a case filed over the 25 deaths in a blast at Gulistan's Siddikbazar on March 7.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Farah Diba Chhanda fixed the fresh date as the investigation officer of the case failed to submit the report on Tuesday.
Earlier on June 20, the Dhaka court fixed Tuesday for report submission in the case.
The deadly explosion occurred in the basement of a seven-storey building, housing sanitary hardware stores, at around 4:50pm on March 7.
The explosion led to the deaths of 25 individuals, with the building, up to the third floor, severely damaged.
The blast shattered the building's wall, throwing items stored inside out onto the street. A bus parked on the opposite side of the building was also damaged, along with several neighbouring buildings.
Police filed the case at Bangshal police station after the blast incident, accusing unknown parties of negligence.
