The High Court has directed the authorities concerned to form a five-member expert committee to receive complaints of mobile phone customers regarding services.
The bench comprising Justice Mamnoon Rahman and. Justice Khandaker Diliruzzaman passed the order on Sunday during preliminary hearing of a writ petition.
Barrister AM Masum and Advocate Saifur Rahman Rahi appeared for the petition.
The committee will handle complaints like call drop of all mobile operators, network slowness, additional call charges, monitoring of internet packages, etc.
The court asked the committee to submit a report within a month.
Earlier, the writ petition was filed seeking directions to form a committee to monitor every kind of complaints from mobile phone operators.
