The BNP has filed a petition in a Dhaka court to register a case against Detective Branch (DB) of police chief Harun-ur-Rashid and nine others over the vandalism of the party's Naya Paltan office last year.
Nazimuddin Alam, a member of the BNP's executive committee, submitted the petition in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury's court on Sunday.
The court said it would pass an order after taking the statement of the plaintiff.
