A Gaibandha court on Sunday sentenced a man to death for selling drugs in 2019.
The convict Zahirul Islam, is a resident of Gobindaganj upazila of the district.
According to the prosecution, police arrested Zahirul along with 250 grams of heroin from Gobindaganj municipality grocery market on June 2, 2019.
Later, a case was filed in this regard.
After examining the records and witnesses, Gaibandha District and Sessions Judge Dilip Kumar Bhoumik handed down the judgment.
