A Dhaka court on Sunday fixed January 17 for delivering verdict in the case filed over the murder of a woman and her son in Kakrail area of Dhaka on November 01, 2017.
Dhaka's Third Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court Judge Md Rabiul Alam passed the order after concluding argument hearing of both defence and prosecution side.
Earlier on November 01, 2017, Shamshun Nahar Karim, 46, and her son Shaown, 17, an A level student, were killed at their residence in the capital’s Kakrail area.
On November 2, 2017, Shamsunnahar’s brother Ashraf Ali filed the case against her husband Abdul Karim, his second wife Sharmin Mukta, Mukta’s brother Jonny and others.
Ramna police station Inspector Ali Hossain, also the investigation officer (IO) of this case filed charge sheet against Abdul Karim, Sharmin Mukta, and Jonny on July 16, 2018.
