A Dhaka court on Monday sentenced four people to 10-year imprisonment each in a case lodged over recovery of 123,000 yaba pills.
Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Qayesh delivered the judgement, sentencing Hossain Ali, Jasim Uddin, Salauddin and Mizanur Rahman in the case.
The case was filed at Hazaribagh police station over the recovery of 123,000 yaba pills on March 15, 2018.
Police on November 14 that year had filed the charge sheet against the four.
The court on different hearing dates examined 12 out of the total 18 witnesses.
