"Now my only request to the apex court is that the verdict be upheld and executed quickly."

Another victim Nusrat Jahan's father Palash Hawlader said:"We are happy. We want the apex court to uphold the verdict if the convicts file an appeal against it."

Defence lawyer Md Jahirul Islam said they are not satisfied and will file appeal with the High Court Division against the verdict.

They raped the two children, and strangled them to death.

Later, Palash Hawlader filed a case with Demra police station against the accused.

The next day on January 8, Golam and Azizul were arrested from Jatrabari and Demra areas of Dhaka.
