SC stays bail of 2 Destiny bosses

A five-member bench led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order on Sunday morning, in response to a petition filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).The court also asked ACC to file a leave-to-appeal petition by that time.The High Court granted bail to Destiny Managing Director Rafiqul Amin and Destiny Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd Chairman Mohammad Hossain in two money laundering cases on July 20.In 2012, the ACC filed the cases against 22 Destiny officials accusing them of laundering Tk 4,200 crore.
