A writ has been filed with the High Court seeking its directives to arrange scribers for blind applicants, who want to participate in recruitment exam for the post of assistant judge.
Advocate Kumar Debul Dey has filed the writ on Wednesday on behalf of Sudip Das, a visually impaired applicant, after a private television channel aired a news report in this regard.
The lawyer told that the writ might be heard by the bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan and KM Kamrul Kader.
The recruitment exam for the post of assistant Judge for the lower court will be held on Friday.
According to the news published on television, Sudip Das completed his studies in law discipline from Chittagong University and wants to be judge.
He has been applying for the post of assistant judge in Judicial Service Commission from last two years but the authority didn't arrange or permitted him to sit in the said exam with scriber. So, he had to submit blank answer sheet.
