A Dhaka court has placed Mohammedan Sporting Club’s director-in-charge Md Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan on a fresh two-day remand for the third time, in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act.
Metropolitan Magistrate Md Shahinur Rahman passed the order on Thursday when Lokman was produced before the court after the end of a two-day-long police interrogation.

In the remand prayer, the IO mentioned the accused provided important information in the second phase of interrogation, and he needed to quiz him further for the sake of proper investigation.
Meanwhile, defense lawyers submitted a bail petition, and moved the court for rejecting the remand prayer, but the court rejected their plea after hearing both sides.
