HC: Why no bail for 8 jailed for over 10 years

The bench of Justice AKM Abdul Hakim and Justice SM Mujibur Rahman issued the rule on Tuesday morning.
The court asked the authorities concerned to explain their stance within 15 days.
It also ordered the lower court to submit the case documents and asked the jail authorities to produce the detainees before it.
The rule was issued when Supreme Court Legal Aid Committee's panel lawyer Chanchal Kumar brought the matter to the notice of the High Court.
