2 Biman officials put on 7-day fresh remand

The court of Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sajjadur Rahman passed the order after Inspector Mahbub Alam of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit produced them before the court with a 10-day fresh remand plea. On December 22 last year, the officials – Engineer SM Rokonuzzaman and junior technician Siddiqur Rahman – surrendered before a Dhaka court in the case. Later, on December 27, another court placed them on a seven-day remand for interrogation. Seven other Biman officials were also arrested in the same case. They are now in remand.
