The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has started investigating allegations of misappropriating Tk151 crore by Jessore, Kushtia and Magura general hospitals in 2011-12 fiscal.
On Tuesday noon, an ACC team from Dhaka led by deputy commissioner Ali Akbar reached at Jessore General Hospital.
They investigated medicines, machineries and equipment including operation theatres of the hospital, said the commissioner.
Sources at the hospital administration, however, said the hospital was approved Tk10.52 crore in 2011-12 fiscal years.
