TPS Worldwide, a global provider of digital payment and financial technology solutions, has appointed ULAB alumnus Md Abdullah Al Muzahid (Tareef) as its country lead for Bangladesh.
In his new role, Tareef will spearhead the company's strategic expansion and business growth in Bangladesh, overseeing sales, business development, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement.
He will work closely with banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, payment service providers, regulators, and technology partners to accelerate the adoption of advanced payment and digital banking solutions across the country.
Tareef brings more than 16 years of experience in enterprise technology, digital transformation, banking, and payment solutions. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Huawei Technologies, Technocraft Switchgears India Pvt. Ltd., Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, MetroNet Bangladesh Limited, aamra technologies limited, and data-edge limited.
He has led strategic initiatives involving payment systems, core banking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, enterprise infrastructure, and digital transformation for banks, financial institutions, government agencies, and enterprise clients.
