Four people have been killed and 30 others injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Noymail under Mirpur upazila in Kushtia.
The deceased are Jahidul Islam, 40, Alam Mondol, 55, Nur Alam, 55, and Parvez Ahmed, 34.
The Faridpur-bound bus plunged into the ditch, as the driver lost control over the steering wheel at Noymail around 3am Thursday, killing four people, according to Bangla Tribune.
Mirpur OC Kazi Jalal Uddin confirmed the accident.
He said the injured have been admitted to Kushtia Sadar Hospital.
