Newsreader, model, and actress have been rumoured to have resigned from her post at Boishakhi TV, for which a buzz was created and Dhaka Tribune cared to investigate on the matter. When asked, if the sayings are true, Farhana Nisho denied, “Truthfully, I did not resign but took a leave for three weeks. Maybe that’s why many thought I was leaving Boishakhi. The news is completely untrue.”
There were also hearsay concerning disagreements between Farhana and the authorities of Boishakhi TV. When asked, she replied, “No no. Nothing of the sort occurred. I am adored immensely at Boishakhi TV and whoever spread the news are merely trying to spread negative words against me. In addition, I am just an employee of Boishakhi, not the owner. If I do not comply with their rules, they have every right to let me go."
