Police have arrested two members of a militant group for their alleged involvement with the Ashulia bank robbery in Savar.
The detainees are Babu Sardar and Mintu.

Assailants have hacked a woman and her daughter to death at Atlora village under Shreepur upazila in Gazipur.
The deceased are Hasuni Bibi, 50, her daughter Arifa Khatun, 18.

Two persons, including a former union parishad member, have been hacked to death in a clash over cutting a tree at Raghunathpur village under Benapole Port police stationi Jessore.
The deceased are Abdullah, 50, son of Jasimuddin; and Samsher Ali Budu, 60, son of Abdul Khalil.

A strong earthquake has struck New Zealand's South Island with reports of "violent shaking" in buildings.
The quake hit at 15:36 pm (03:36 GMT) with its epicentre about 66km (41 miles) from the town of Kaikoura.
Mediterranean migrants crisis: EU triples funding
European leaders are to triple funding for search-and-rescue operations aimed at migrant boats in the Mediterranean following crisis talks in Brussels.
The EU will also look at ways to capture and destroy smugglers' boats and deploy immigration officers to non-EU countries, officials said.
