AJM Nasir Uddin, a mayoral candidate of the Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) poll, has unveiled his election manifesto with the promise to solve the problem of waterlogging.
The Awami League-backed candidate made the statement while unveiling his 28-page manifesto at Chittagong Engineers Institute Auditorium around 12:15pm Wednesday.
Nasir highlighted 36 points, including protecting the hills, introducing Wi-Fi services in Chittagong city, enhancing education and the e-government system, and bringing down traffic congestion.
While talking to journalists, he said: “The previous mayor [M Monjur Alam] had stopped the works of AB Mohiuddin Chowdhury, but I will reintroduce those works in a more efficient manner.”
