Bangladesh is going to set up a urea fertiliser factory in Iran under a joint venture investment with the country.
Bangladesh reciprocated to the proposal made by Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Abbas Vaezi Dehnavi when he paid a courtesy call on Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu at his ministry office on Thursday, reports BSS.
During the meeting, Amu also showed interest to import urea fertilisers from Iran under a government-to-government arrangement.
The Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh welcomed the interest of industries minister.
Moreover, they discussed various issues, including trade and investment, between the two countries.
