A youth has been stabbed to death by miscreants in Fanirtek area under Gazipur sadar upazila.
The deceased is Noyon, 19, son of Fazlul Haque of Mymensingh.
Joydebpur police Sub-Inspector Harun-or-Rashid said police recovered the body from a paddy field around 12 midnight Sunday.
He, however, said the reason behind the murder could not be ascertained.
The body was sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
