The District Road Transport Owners-workers' Association has called an indefinite bus strike in the district from Thursday.
The announcement came from an emergency meeting of the organisation on Thursday afternoon.
While contacted, General Secretary of District Bus-Minibus Owners' Association Saiful Islam Sawpan said: “We have called the strike, protesting the extortion by Mymensingh Owners' Association and Worker's Union.”
