Police have recovered the body of a man from Gobordari area of Satkhira sadar upazila.
The deceased is Hafizul Islam, 40.
Satkhira sadar OC Emdadul Haque said several injury marks were spotted on the body and tendons of his legs were severed.
He said Hafizul might have been murdered following enmity with his brother-in-law over cattle trading.
Hafizul's brother-in-law Ebadul was detained after the incident.
The body was sent to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy, said the OC.
