BNP-backed mayoral candidate M Manjur Alam has got orange symbol and Awami League-backed candidate AJM Nasir Uddin got elephant symbol for Chittagong City Corporation election.
The Election Commission started distributing the electoral symbols among the mayoral candidates for CCC poll on Friday morning.
Returning Officer MD Abdul Baten distributed the symbols at the Muslim Institute Hall.
The Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) election is set to be held on April 28.
