Hera Pheri 3

Just yesterday, Abishek Bachchan tweeted out to the twitterverse that he’d begun shooting the squeal to the popular comedy franchise Hera Pheri. The new film will have John Abraham, who has replaced Akshay Kumar, while the likes of Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty will return to their original roles. Another fantastic addition to the film is comedic veteran Kader Khan, while Neeraj Vohra comes back to direct as he had done in the first sequel. This will be Abishek and John’s third time on-screen together, and the first two trips were blockbuster hits. We’ll see if third time is a bigger charm.

Bonsoir, French Riviera

Bollywood’s hottest couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be spotted at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. While Ranbir plans to stand by his new film Bombay Velvet, Katrina will be on her own course by promoting a brand she endorses. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor are also the ambassadors of the same brand, which will make quite the scene if all three of these gorgeous leading ladies grace the red carpet at Cannes. Interesting fact: both Ranbir and Aishwarya will be sharing the same screen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in the near future.

Three more

The new Pakistani heartthrob in Bollywood, Fawad Khan is becoming a favourite with directors. He’s got three films lined up, starting with Karan Johar’s Kapoors and Sons. It’s also reported that he’s joined the cast of Reema Kagti’s Mr Chaalu. The director of Talaash has approached the new Khan on the block for a future film, starring oposite Priyanka Chopra. The role was initially for Saif Ali Khan, but unfortunately due to payment issues, Chote Nawab has opted out of the project.
