A person has been killed and six others have been injured as a truck knocked down a battery-run three-wheeler in Tebaria Railgate area in Natore.
The deceased is Shawkat Ali, son of Asir uddin of Banbelghoria area in the city.
The injured have been admitted into Natore sadar hospital and different clinics.
Sadar OC Mizanur Rahman said: “A Dhaka-bound truck carrying dried red chilli from Pran Agro Ltd knocked down the three-wheeler when the driver lost his control over the steering in Tebaria Railgate early Sunday, killing Shawkat on the spot.”
He said the injured have been admitted to sadar hospital and local clinics.
