A worker has been killed and three others have been injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Chittagong Export Processing Zone.
The deceased is Rani Akter, 25, a worker of a factory in CEPZ.
CEPZ police OC Abul Monsur said: “The bus carrying the workers plunged into a roadside ditch after the driver lost his control over the steering around 7:40am Sunday, leaving four people critically injured.”
“Rani was declared dead when taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital,” said the hospital's police outpost Nayek Hamidur Rahman.
The injured are being treated at hospital, he said.
