Notice served seeking BCB action on ICC umpires
A Supreme Court lawyer has sent a legal notice to the authorities of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) requesting them to appeal with the International Cricket Council for punishing the umpires for their wrong decisions in the World Cup quarter-final match between Bangladesh and India.
SC lawyer Eunus Ali Akond sent the notice to BCB team manager, its president, and secretary to the sports ministry on Tuesday morning.

NSA shooting: One dead, two hurt
Two people tried to run their vehicle through the National Security Agency's gates near Washington on Monday before guards at the spy agency fatally shot one of them, said officials, who added there was no evidence of a link to terrorism.
The second occupant of the vehicle was also shot, according to one official, and a police officer was injured.
