The International Chittagong Hill Tracts Commission (CHTC) has condemned the attack on the convoy of chairman of Chittagong Hill Tracts Regional Council and also president of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS) Jyotirindra Bodhipriya Shantu Larma, that took place on March 11.
The attack was allegedly carried out in the presence of police and other law enforcers, according to a statement of CHT Commission issued yesterday.
The statement said some individuals involved in the attack were identified and CHTC has come to learn that they involved local politicians belonging to both the ruling Awami League as well as members of the BNP.
