AHM Mostafa Kamal has rejected any possibility of resigning from the post of president of International Cricket Council (ICC).
In a conversation with local television Channel 24, Kamal said: “Anything regarding resignation is completely rumor. All of it is the creation by media.”
He categorically said: “I had no such talk with media.”
He also exclaimed about where the media got it from.
However, after the quarter final match between Bangladesh and India, amid the outrage triggered by the umpire's controversial decision, which many found the cause of Bangladesh’s loss, Kamal told another TV channel that he might resign if needed.
Bangladesh Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, also International Cricket Council (ICC) president said on Thursday said Bangladesh will appeal to ICC against the controversial umpiring in the ICC World Cup quarter-final match between Bangladesh and India in Melbourne.
He said the ICC was not International Cricket Council anymore.
"It has become Indian Cricket Council."
